Fredrich Nietzsche once said that the only way to truly test ones will is to pit it against the universe. At first, this sounds like a daunting task, but individual's have changed the world around them through out the ages. Look at all of the conquers, dictators and unifiers through out history. They reshaped the world to their will. I am not saying that everyone needs to try and change the entire world to suit them. I am only saying that through force of will, great things can be done.

The Runes will also help in learning about or simply thinking about the Teutonic Gods. In all honesty, I truly do not know for certain that there are "God/s" somewhere "out there". I truly do not know if fate is real, or if there are God/s, if they have some plan. I do know that there is not a way to decisively prove either. So in the mean time we do the best we can, with this thing called life. Man has been struggling with this problem since the dawn of time. And I, like most people, have tried to figure out the meaning to life. Here is what I have figured out so far. Life is a struggle. But what are we truly struggling against? I believe that life is about dominion. The individuals struggle to exert their will over this wild beast that we call life. I have known people that say that they "go with the flow" and let the universe guide them. They were lying to me. Where they also lying to themselves? Everyone tries to do things to improve their life whether by buying a lotto ticket or trying to advance at work. They are making an attempt to change their life because they are willing it do be thus. For me personally, the Runes and the concepts of the Teutonic Gods help me to focus my will and to bolster my strength when it would waiver.

Again, this has been strictly my opinion.
